Dr. Kelly (Frost) Churchill is the owner of Advanced Hearing Care. She was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an undergraduate degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. She completed her Master’s Degree in Audiology in 1983 at the 1st ranked audiology program at the University of Iowa under the guidance of two prestigious hearing aid researchers & clinicians, Dr. David Hawkins and Dr. Ruth Bentler. Afterward, she practiced clinical audiology at Washington University – St. Louis in the Department of Otolaryngology under the renowned audiologists, Dr. Margo Skinner and Dr. Michael Valente.

Prior to moving to New Mexico, Dr. Churchill was a clinical supervisor and lecturer at Northwestern University in Chicago for five years. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2005 through the Arizona School for Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Churchill has practiced audiology and hearing instrument dispensing in Alamogordo since 1993 and is currently the full-time provider at our Las Cruces office.

Allison Moneypenny, Au.D., CCC-A

 

Board Certified Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Allison Moneypenny completed her bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Akron in 2009. She then went on to complete her Doctorate in Audiology at The University of Akron, who has a partnership with Kent State University and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. This consortium of facilities offers the Doctor of Audiology degree through NOAC (Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium).

Dr. Moneypenny has volunteered with the Red Bird Missions as well as other foundations that work to provide hearing assistance and other health services to those who could not otherwise afford it. She hopes to continue her volunteer work here in Alamogordo, NM. She is currently a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association as well as a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology. Her areas of interest include diagnostic audiology, hearing aid technology and aural rehabilitation. Dr. Moneypenny lives in Alamogordo with her husband Ryan and their two children, Ava and Caden.

Hilary Ruiz, Au.D., CCC-A

 

Board Certified Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Hilary Ruiz joined Advanced Hearing Care in 2017. She received her doctoral degree from Pacific University in Oregon. Dr. Ruiz is board certified by the American Board of Audiology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She completed her training in a variety of clinical settings including USC, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and prominent private practices in Pasadena.

Dr. Ruiz is fluent in Spanish. She takes pride in providing the best possible care for her patients; her greatest joy is seeing her patients’ lives transformed. When she’s not with patients, you will find her learning different languages and traveling with her family around the world.

 
 

Jordan Press

Jordan Press, B.A.

 

Audiology Resident

Jordan Press is a native of Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. He was inspired to become an audiologist by his parents, who are both practicing audiologists in Kansas. He remembers growing up and watching the amazing amount of help they have been able to grant individuals struggling with hearing loss, and he wants to do the same! He received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Kansas and is currently an Au.D. candidate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jordan is looking forward to spending some time with the Advanced Hearing Care family and learning how to become an even better audiologist in beautiful New Mexico.

 
 

Gabriela Perez

Gabriela Perez, B.S.

 

Audiology Resident

Gabriela Perez attended New Mexico State University for her undergraduate degree and is currently completing her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Utah. She has served as both vice president and president of the University of Utah’s local Student Academy of Audiology chapter. Gabby is from Las Cruces, New Mexico, and plans to continue to serve the New Mexico community following graduation in May 2017. Gabriela’s areas of interest include diagnostic audiology, vestibular diagnostics, hearing aid technology, and professional practice. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.

 
 

Amanda Moore

Amanda Moore, B.S.

 

Audiology Resident

Amanda Moore is a San Francisco Bay Area native, raised in Clayton, California. She graduated cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, where she was a four-year scholar athlete. Amanda is currently pursuing her Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona State University and will graduate in May 2017. She is a member of the Student Academy of Audiology and the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her interests in the field include diagnostic audiology, amplification devices, and hearing assistive technology. Amanda enjoys softball, scrapbooking, country music, and relaxing with her two rescue cats.
