The “New Normal”
Protecting Each Other During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Only patients who have a scheduled appointment will be invited to enter our office. We are currently not able to accommodate “Walk-In” appointments. To make an appointment, please call us and we will be happy to set a convenient time for you. Most simple pickup or drop-off appointments (even batteries) will be conducted at curbside.
What to Expect at Your Scheduled Appointment:
When you arrive, park your car and call our office phone at (575) 680-2434. This will allow us to ensure we are fully prepared for you to enter the office. In the rare event that both phone lines are busy, please do NOT leave a message; please wait a minute and try again until your call is answered.
- Enter the building through the main lobby doors (by the covered roundabout). You will be asked to participate in the Mountain View Triage; they will take your temperature and ask you about any potential exposure to COVID-19.
- Once you have cleared Triage, please continue to our office door. We will have a small black doorbell for you to ring. Ring the doorbell and then take a seat on the bench outside our office; we will be right out to get you!
- If you do not have a mask, we will provide you one. You will need to put on your mask properly before you will be invited into the office. When you enter the office, you will be asked to go straight to our washroom to wash your hands and then proceed directly to your exam room. Please always maintain 6 feet of distance between yourself and others.
We may look different all covered in PPE, masks, gloves, goggles, and occasional scrubs, but underneath we are the same warm, friendly, and caring doctors and staff you know well. We cannot wait to move beyond this “new normal” and bring back the “old normal” we all know and love. We look forward to seeing you soon!
