Dr. Shelby Montaño, a New Mexico native, earned her B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders at New Mexico State University while also competing nationally for the NMSU rodeo team on a scholarship. She then earned her audiology doctorate at the University of Utah in 2020. Dr. Montaño has experience in a variety of clinical settings, including the Salt Lake City VA and the University of Utah Hospital (newborn Intensive Care Unit). For the last year, she has been practicing clinical audiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Montaño is committed to providing the best possible hearing healthcare and delights in working with patients of all ages. She enjoys spending her free time with family, riding and caring for her horses, and experiencing the outdoors.
