Kelly Shea, originally from Belleville, Illinois, is a fourth-year graduate clinician completing her externship at Expert Hearing Care. After two years of undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, she graduated cum laude from Missouri State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders and a minor in Spanish. She is working toward her audiology doctorate — expected in 2025— at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Before joining our team, Kelly completed clinical placements at the University of Kansas Neuroaudiology Clinic; school districts in both Kansas’ and Missouri’s Kansas City areas; and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Leavenworth, Kansas, as well as observations of intraoperative neuromonitoring at the University of Kansas Health System.
Kelly is passionate about helping patients improve their ability to communicate with loved ones. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, going on walks, appreciating wildlife, and relaxing at home.
